Thirty-Six Hours Of Innovation At Novotorium’s Not-A-Hackathon

Novotorium Entrepreneur Summer CampLast Wednesday (June 27th), I had the privilege to participate as an entrepreneur adviser at the Novotorium‘s 36-hour Not-A -Hackathon, which was part of the Entrepreneur Summer Camp.

Novotorium is a startup incubator based in Langhorne, PA that specializes in helping startups grow and get the funding needed to be successful.

Over the 36-hours, of which I slept only 3 hours, I worked on a really neat startup called HootBoard. Entrepreneur Satyajeet Shahade describes the services as platform to bring your community’s bulletin board online and make it more accessible.

During this time period we were able to not only launch the service into private beta, but also get the marketing communications together, build out a launch campaign called and much more.

In addition to HootBoard, there were a number of other great startups there. The winners stayed up the whole 36-hours. A great task management program Untangled Tasks (which is still currently in development) took home the runner up position.

The staff at Novotorium put together a great event and kept all of the teams (more than 5 all together) very well fed and energized. Novotorium hosts lots of great events. To find out more about what’s going on check out their events calendar.
