When you think business networking you think LinkedIn. For the most part so do I. But, there’s another network out on the interwebs that is coming into its own — Alignable.
When Alignable came out in the 2010s it was pretty rough, didn’t work very well and was really just a “me as well” type social network. At first it was desktop only, then iOS and desktop. That was when I took a break from the network for close to 5 years.
Now, I’m back. A colleague of mine asked if I was on it and I told them I was but not active. They started signing it’s praises so I ventured back.
Sure enough Alignable now had an Android app (though it’s only portrait) and has really well formed active groups of people providing actual value. They even have daily networking meetings on video conferencing so you can meet people face-to-face.
I’m happy to be back on!
So, why am I telling you about Alignable? Because it’s definitely a place you want to be, especially if you’re in the local/regional business space.
